February Lawn Maintenance

Spring is just around the corner. February is a month that has inconsistent weather patterns. This year in Chesapeake we could surpass the average snowfall in one day. Generally we have climate temps ranging from the teens to the upper 50’s. It is a month that all shrubs should be dormant pruned, plants should be cropped, crepe myrtles need to be cropped and tipped. Mulching of bedding areas. Liriope cut back. Pre-emergents in beds and turf areas late in the month.

At Newell Lawn and Landscape we make sure you are ready for spring with packages designed to meet your lawn and landscape needs.
